My favorite diet: Animalbolics

I wonder if anyone has used it for "bulking", I'm not gaining anymore muscle unless I juice or use other drugs so I can't experiment with it for gaining mass.

I (sort of) bulked with it. I basically ate a lot (see: shit load) on days I worked out, then toned it down a notch on other days (and lowered carbs). Worked great! 25lbs in 10 weeks with maybe 5 lbs fat tops!

Edit: for me thats great. I put on fat (and weight in general) very easily. Im the epitome of mesomorph. Maybe 4k on workout and 2k on non-wrkout days. (rough estimates)

Mostly I aimed for 1xbw/lb for grams of protein and 1.5xbw/lb for grams of carbs on workout days. After that it was all gravy. Non workout days I kept carbs as low glycemic as possible.

You do eat in the morning but keep it according to your activity level. If possible, limit it to a shake, eggs, or fruit. Theres this cereal called "GOLEAN" that has a really good nutrient breakdown. I dont shun that either.

If you workout early in the day, then this is your time to eat! I used to workout in the early afternoon, and from then untill I went to sleep, it was buffet time! :chomp:

i will usually work out in the evening so from 7 ocolck to about 6 im working but its poretty physical work
my moirning meakl is usually a shake and a grapefruit followed by sanother small meal 2 hours later
i guess im gonna try and modify this alil and use it to help cut
i eat every 2-3 hours and according to the article this is keeping me from burnign fat so what would the recomended meal frequency be for someone looking to lean out

Anyone who claims to patent or copyright this diet is full of shit. Our ancestors were doing this at the dawn of civilization. They'd hunt all day, barely eating and then make a kill and feast at night. These guys were lean, ripped and powerful.

hahaha....how the fawk does this guy know how lean early civilization was???

in the first part he says only have coffee and a salad ...then have some oatmeal before you workout.... but in the sample diet he has like 4 meals before you actually workout (kind of a contradiction)

it seems like he is just telling you to carb load before and after you lift and intake none up until then...this isn't really a new diet...i think most of us time our majority carbs pre, during and post workout. but instead of having carbs early in the day he switched them to night....i'm open minded and have tried every diet there is, but i don't agree with your body going on just coffee and maybe one protein shake or salad all day....then carb load at night before bed when you body doesn't require energy.

i'm a skeptic on this one...but knowing me i'll get tired of my current diet and try this one a for a few weeks :p

ok so i wake around 10, workout around 1-3pm... what should i do, im on a bulk although im keepin my bf down.... shakes from wake until workout then eat a big meal after and load up on food the rest of the day? or just that one big meal after the workout and then shake it or very small foods until bed?

It's a TKD diet with starvation periods...last time I checked anorexia wasn't a good dieting technique.

Never said it was. But I do think it is a good idea to get most of your days calories in around your workout. It also doesnt promote ketosis so its actually NOT like a TKD.
