My Experience

Hello everybody,

Well, i'll get straight to the point of this topic.

Last year, early 2005. I weighed about 240 pounds. I started using Marijuana regularly, sometimes everyday for a long time. I walked everywhere and didn't eat as much, but I did pig out every now and then if there was food in front of me because of the Marijuana. I noticed I starting feeling better and I assumed I had just lost a bit of weight and I was being told by quite a few people that I had lost a lot of weight. To finally confirm this, I got on the scale and I had lost 40 pounds. My whole "Marijuana and walking diet" lasted for 2 - 3 months.

I still can't believe I lost all of that weight... I stopped doing Marijuana and stopped walking as much because school had ended for the Summer. So now I'm steadily gaining weight. I don't get much exercise, but I've been working on that.

Anyways... Can anyone reccommend something for me to do? I don't have any money for exercise equiptment nor healthy foods. Well, someone else buys the food for the family, so I wouldn't have a choice of what to get.

Glad to be here by the way, seems like a great place.

Talk soon,
Phowl

You sound like you're just looking for excuses as to why you can't be healthy, its always too hard.

Ask the person that buys your food to maybe pick up a few healthier things, or buy some yourself (if you have SOME income). I think just about anyone can afford a gym membership you don't require home gym equipment.

TRY and eat better, drink LOTS of water (at least 1 gallon a day) and go to a gym. Once you start seeing results in your body you'll be hooked and before you know it years from now, you will have found ways to lead a healthy lifestyle instead of making excuses as to why you can't.

One hell of a welcoming, lol.

Thing is, my town only has a population of 2000 and there is no gyms here and nothing of that sort.

But your right... I'll work on it.

Well, I'm obviously not an expert, but what was the difference between what you were doing when you were 240 and after you dropped weight? A change of lifestyle? You stated that you started using marijuana regularly and soon after you lost weight. Stating that you started using pot tells me that you maybe started hanging around new friends or something, maybe? Maybe before you met these new friends you just stayed home and kinda munched down snacks around the TV all the time or something. After you met them, you were out more, with less time to snack. Just an assumption, or an example of what may have caused a change in your weight. You didn't state your age, eating habits, exercise habits, or anything for anyone to go on. Get a little bit more detailed about this kinda stuff and I'll bet anything that many people on this board can give you some great advice about how to go the direction you want to go. Example: exercise and everyday eating habits when you were 240, everyday exercise and eating habits when you lost weight, and your present exercise and eating habits that are causing weight gain now. Maybe timetabes, too, like how long it took you to get to 240, how long it took you to drop weight, how much you weigh now, how fast you are gaining, what your diet consists of, what your diet consisted of when you were 240, what it consisted of when you lost weight, how much exercise you were getting when you were losing weight compared to when you were 240, and how much exercise you are getting now.
Like I said before, I'm not an expert, but punch those numbers in for others to look at (the more details the better) and I'm sure some good bros here can give you some valuable (and possibly life-changing) info that will be of help to you. I wish you the best in your quest to improve your health, man!

Obviously smoking weed was the key. I recommend a ounce a day. It may get expensive but if you want the weigh off that’s the only way. Or you could even stack it with meth. I have never seen some fat that does meth.

Different people loss weigh and get into shape different ways . Most of us here like to "lift weights" but that’s only because the weed diet never worked. You are what we like to call " genetically gifted”. No weigh training needed only walking and a large supply of drugs.
