Thanks, I read the info at this one in Frankfort. I'll email Mindy today on it. They said on the relinquishment page that they will also try to find a home right away if you can keep it with you until they find it a home. There is no waiting list for doing it that way. I'll try that.

And EVERYONE on the thread is happy now!

They were more concerned about that mean little cat than my little boy having to live in a home with cat pee everywhere...lol.

Pillow case + Big Rock + Zip tie + Cat + River = Problem solved.

Please tell me you're joking?

in one thread in one day I've lost respect for a whole lot of you.
I'm happy a surround myself with people who respect all life.

HR, I believe you "love" animals, but wow, you ran off in no time to bring the cat to the shelter? That feels like love to me!

Yep, now this will be my last post in here. I feel sick to my stomach that I walk the planet with such mean souls!

drive the cat 20-30 miles from your house and set it free.. The cat will find a new home. Their instinct tells them to go where they smell food.
That's messed up. It's a house cat.

Are you like those people who just drop their dogs on the side of the highway when they become too much of a burden to them?

Good luck HR finding your cat a loving home.

Hey - you decided to keep your son and not abort him and the cat was there first so that automatically means you ALL HAVE to be trapped in hell.

You terrible bish - you deserve a oneway ticket to hell.

Goodness... I don't get all the hallubahloo. :whatever: Why do some people get offended when I say that I value the life of a human child more than the life of an animal?

But in the end the thread was a good one because of the information that Nef furnished. It helped you out and it will help me out when we go to get my girls and who knows how many other people like us didn't know about such shelters and programs? I know that I'd never heard of them before.

In my opinion, you are not seeing this fairly, the health and welfare of the child and the cat are not mutually exclusive. We care about both.
