drive the cat 20-30 miles from your house and set it free.. The cat will find a new home. Their instinct tells them to go where they smell food.

Come over to my house. You'll meet a bunch of cats that were abused and dropped off in my area. They were outside in -30 below starving to death. I took them in and took care of other people neglect.

I'm totally disgusted!

Please tell me you're joking?

in one thread in one day I've lost respect for a whole lot of you.
I'm happy a surround myself with people who respect all life.

HR, I believe you "love" animals, but wow, you ran off in no time to bring the cat to the shelter? That feels like love to me!

Yep, now this will be my last post in here. I feel sick to my stomach that I walk the planet with such mean souls!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I RESCUED HER AND GAVE HER A HOME ALL OF THESE YEARS despite the fact that she has ruined numerous comforters, items of furniture, carpets, etc. I have made sure her health was in tip top shape. I feed her the best of the best food and have never hit her or abused her in ANY WAY!

I have been looking for a home for her for OVER A YEAR!

My son is ALLERGIC and it is exacerbating his ear problem!

Still I didn't leave her at that pound today because they are a kill facility!

I didn't leave her on the side of the road!

As a matter of fact, I took her home, let her out of her carrier and gave her a little pat on the back.

JESUS CHRIST, please tell me why you think that is so terrible???? I'm not abusing her and never have. I have kept her and treated her well because I wouldn't give her to anyone but a good person/family.

Why do you feel the need to defend yourself?

This is like the thread about your asshole co-worker that got himself fired.

Meh....

I'm really sort of flummoxed why I'm the bad guy in her eyes. ???? I'm still waiting to hear what I did to the cat that is so damned terrible, besides rescuing her from certain death a few years ago. :whatever:

Now, I'm a "mean soul?"

JEEZ!

There is actually a disorder pets can have called ‘Separation Anxiety Disorder’. Sounds like what your cat has HR. I read a story not long ago about a guy who rescued a dog from the pound. Whenever the guy would leave his house to go to work the dog would destroy it, crap and piss all over. And from the story he said the dog would shit in places any normal dog would not. Hitting the walls, drapes, bed and pillows. He said he had the dog two weeks before he had to give it back.

Well, if she has it she got it the first day out of the shelter. Seriously, I just can't continue to care for this problem, no matter what the cause of the problem is.
