Missing Period

What is the cause of missing a period beside being pregnant?


I have this situation where I had miss my period last month ( it is the first time that had happened to me , i was freaking out bad) and so I took those pregnancy test (4 times) and it all came up negative. Then this month I got my period.


The only thing that I can think of is Stress.

it could be a number of reasons...for example if your period is very heavy this month it could be not so heavy or not at all next month
stress is a factor
working out is a factor
change of diet can also change your flow

I was thinking is correlation to stress because I've been depressed for the past few months.

most likely is stress...i have been very stressed and my flow has been off the wall...never know when or how long it will last! pain in the butt

Stress is probably your number one reason. When I went away to college for the first time at age 20, I had always had a period that went like clockwork. Then for the duration of my first fall semester doing Jr. level physics classes, being 1500 miles away from my nearest family and sharing a room w/ a manic despressive art major from California, yea, I was stressed. I didnt' get my period back until Xmas break. Then it stopped again from Jan until May when I went back home for the summer. After that I have only had trouble during one month when I was finishing up one of my master's degrees, renting a room from a friend whose cats didnt' get along w/ my cat and having my master's thesis fall apart because of a shitty advisor. Since then, has only happened when my bodyfat drops below 11% for BB & figure competition.

I would have to agree with the ladies when they say stress.

that's what I thought at the first place .is cause by stress. Just want to make sure!
