I just got out of the USMC last month did 4 years, they don't test for steroids unless they have some probable cause, and it wont show up on a normal drug screen since that's not what they are looking for. I have been tested in the middle of my cycle before and it did not come back positive for anything.

i just wanted info on the MEPS steroid testing. not steroid advice. i took the stuff months ago. its in the past and it cant be changed

I was in during the '70's and they only tested for heroin usage.
Steroid usage was pretty heavy! I saw guys big as "The Hulk" in the chow lines, I work as a cook. I would ask them about workouts and supplements which they would evade. I knew they were on the "juice", at that point. Maybe because I was just as big as them and I didn't take steroids.

Ok first of all taking aas just bc you got it on the cheap was dumb, please dont bring this lack of judgement and intel. to our service units. second meps is bs dont say anything and youll fly through it. 3rd dont think your in the clear to cycle just cause no one on this board has ran into it. My unit who works with socom was reg. tested for aas. Units can be designated to test randomly for it depending on the outloook of the unit as a whole, so if there seem to be a bunch of dudes cycling and it gets brought to your co odds are your unit will get the test. There was a big crack down on ass and the military and even though off the books most guys dont mind it in a responsible capacity, they have to care (moms in congress). The level of punishment though is usually up to that coc. In my unit it was usually an article and extra duty for others though it was discharge from the unit (rfs). If your caught selling it or with a large amount that could be made to look like intent to sell then that can be discharge from the military all together. Since you will be a cherry and have 0 friends edont touch aas untill your physically ready, and have good connections within your unit otherwise youll recieve the biggest shit storm. Take my advice and dont be an idiot mr "needle friendly"
