Metabolic rate

Hey Gang,

I've been doing some research for my diet and came acrossed some information that I need some verification on.

Any truth to this statement?

Breakfast is the meal that establishes your metabolic rate for the rest of the day.

If so, should I eat more for breakfast or less? I am also not sure what I should eat at breakfast. I am trying to lose about 10lbs. I am 5'4" and weigh 165 with 22.4% BF. I have a muscular build but also have a small gut and starting to get handles. My goal is to get to about 15-17% BF. Any help on this would be great!

Your BMR depends on your age, weight, sex, LBM etc but I can't imagine how your BMR can vary depending on your breakfast
