Saturday 3 December

8.00am Gym
25 mins HIIT on treadmill
~270 cals burned

It was HARD.

500ml water

9.30am
Homemade oatmeal pancakes
1/4 cup blueberries
1 cup egg whites scrambled
500ml water
multi, zinc, flax, 1 Sesamax, 2 Levorex

Shopping, ran errands etc, in 100 degree heat. Ugh. Not doing well with water intake but will HAVE to now that the temp is constantly up there.

750ml water

1.00pm
4oz roast chicken breast, no skin
1 tbsp cranberry sauce
1/2 avocado
350ml water
1 Sesamax, 2 Levorex

4.00pm
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 tbsp almond butter

3 Glucorell-r

7.30pm
4oz beef fillet
1 medium baked potato
1 tbsp light sour cream
1 tomato
1 cup mushrooms grilled w/ olive oil

2 Sesamax, 2 Levorex
500ml water

1596 cals P:34 C:27 F:39 Fiber:17g

I was exhausted by the end of the day but I'm a bit more motivated so I know it will get better. Thanks ladies for helping me keep with the program :heart:

30 mins steady state cardio - on treadmill
~215 cals burned

9.30am
Homemade oatmeal pancakes - made them again as P tried them yesterday and loved them. I was pleasantly surprised - this will end up being a weekend staple.
1/4 cup blueberries

2/3 cup egg whites scrambled
Multi, zinc, flax, sesamax, 2 levorex
750ml water

A larger meal than normal but was starving.

12.00pm
1 cup cottage cheese
1 tbsp cranberry sauce - got a taste for it lately
500ml water

3.00pm
4oz chicken breast
1 tbsp cranberry sauce
500ml water

3.30pm
1 1/2 cups chocolate ice cream - oops - on an impulse :worried:
Then quickly took 2 Glucorell-R and 2 Sesamax, 2 levorex
500ml water

7.30pm
4oz beef fillet
1/2 cup asparagus
1 Sesamax, 2 Levorex

1 liter water

1600 cals P:38 C:35 F:27 Fiber:10g

Had intended to go back to the gym this afternoon but the heat and malaise took over (hence the ice cream treat). So P and I will drag each other's a$$es tomorrow night for my first lifting session in a few weeks. Oh, this is gonna hurt.

Best of luck tomorrow at the gym, it will feel good to be back lifting I am sure!! Let's hope the hurt will be a GOOD hurt!! :qt:

We just got our first snow fall here yesterday. It was light, but I am so not a fan of winter. Believe it or not, 100 degree heat actually sounds good to me right now!! :chomp:

12.30pm Took colleague out for lunch
Restaurant actually made my request:

feta, rocket, sundried tomatoes
Beetroot, celery & carrot juice
350ml water

5.00pm
Protein bar
250ml water

6.00pm Gym
Upper body workout (to ease in gently)
Incline DB press
Lat pulldown
Military press
Low rows
Abs - forward and reverse crunches

7.30pm
1 cup cottage cheese
1 tbsp cranberry sauce
1 serve protein powder mixed into:
3/4 cup plain FF yogurt
1/2 tbsp almond butter

1 liter water
multi, flax, zinc, sesamax, levorex

1540 cals P:43 C:28 F:29 Fiber:10g

It was SO hot. Lacking in water, not enough fiber, need to add more veggies.
The gym was harder than I thought so I will not over do it for the first week or so - it feels like I haven't been in months!

I can relate in the way of trying "not to over do it" ...

I've had a bit of the opposite effect, jumped right back in and wanted more more more.

I literally have to check myself often, decrease the weight and then force myself to leave the gym, after starting back up as of late.

I'm sure it will fade as time contraints always pop up ... and soon to be more snow :rolleyes: :D

1/2 cup milk

6 sets DB lunges
Seated leg Press
20 mins treadmill 15% @ 2.5mph squeezing glutes all the way

8.30pm
Protein shake
500ml water
multi, flax, zinc, 2 sesamax, 2 levorex

1524 cals P:40 C:29 F:31 Fiber:35g - Oh yeah now we're talking
