I am looking to get down to about 15% BF from 20% as I am now. I am 5'9" and weigh about 190lbs and now my jeans are 34". Not acceptable for me, even in the winter. I am by no means a body builder, but I def wanted to stay 32/33" jeans all year round (32" or less near the summer time). Here's where I need some advice. I know tons about how to eat for the average weight lifter/healthy person, however it is very difficult for me to have any shakes during my day as I am in my general surgery rotation for medical school (veryyyy busy). ANy suggestions, I am all about busting my butt with the food intake portion because the most I can weight train is 3x/week at this point...cardio on average I do 3-4x/wk as well, if im lucky.

here goes...

meal #1
1/2 egg beaters
1/2 thomas light whole grain eng muffin (high fiber)
2 Kashi go lean high fiber wheat waffles w/ TBSP of non sugar syrup
1 TBSP low carb PB

meal #2 south beach diet bar (low glycemic 220k/cal)

Meal #3
2 slices of soned ground WW bread
1/4lb of turkey or non fat thumanns ham
1 TBSP helmans light mayo
1/2 oz of low salt cheese
small non sugar 60k/cal light fit yogurt

heres where I'm stuck, its difficult for me to adhere to a healthy dinner and post workout shake because of the time i get done (usually 6pm) thats if I even get to workout. I have Isopure no carb shakes to eat b4 bed with some EFAs......any suggestions, corrections, HELP.

Remember I am no bodybuilder just a 27 y/o busy MFer who wants to look a little better naked

If you want something easy then I would suggest microwaving chicken +green beans. Add hotsauce to chicken + fake butter spray to green beans. Its pretty quick if you get the pre cooked bag or bake a bunch of boneless/skinless at once and store in fridge.

Almonds and AllNat Peanutbutter are easy too.

Thanks man, bump fpr anymore suggestions?? I often eat turkey burgers as well? and 93% lean hamburgers on the George. Do u bros go no/low carb after a certain time when trying to lean out???

Feel your pain with time constraints and all, currently in school also and hate the fact that sometimes I am forced to eat certain items that I would not normally. One thing that has worked for me was to carry healthy snacks in a plastic bags and snack on them when other students would usually head for the vending machines.

Not sure if that helps, just what has worked for me.
Some items I have taken- Boiled eggs, Nuts, Jerky, carrots/celery and some fruits
