linches @ work

what do u guys take to work for lunches
i'm getting bored of taking precooked salmon and veggies or a salad
and I got told my salmon stinks out the office bawling:

wonder wheat bread + boars head cold cuts maybe some cheese

I eat this at least once a day cutting or bulking.. i think its a great meal for work low gi and hi protein

dont know if your doing keto or not but i also at times will just buy a head of lettuce chop it up.. buy some more cold cuts and throw that in there and mix it up for a salad.. opps you dont want more salads

also sometimes i will just grill up chicken or steak on the foreman then bring in some canned veggies and have that for lunch... low on the stink o meter

Hope this helps you out a bit...

I'm pretty predictable when it comes to my meals that travel with me. Depending on the timing in relation to my workout for the day, it's a selection of some of the following (each meal packed in a Gladware or Ziplock container -- luuuuv those things!)

Chicken breast, grilled at home and sliced
or
Lean steak, grilled at home and sliced
with
Several cups of broccoli or green beans
and (if a carb meal)
One yam or sweetpotato; or a serving of brown rice or oats

Occasionally I'll make a tupperware meal of brown rice mixed with browned ground beef or turkey, whatever veggies are laying around chopped up, and spices.

Another one I like is a low carb tortilla stuffed with fresh spinach, ground beef or turkey (or even cubed grilled steak), mushrooms, and a little cheese.

cook up some steak or chicken fajitas
but often its one container with chicken, one container with salad
if you can find some lower fat haburger, meatballs/meatball sandwich(i like meatpalls in pasta sauce)
SOUPS!
you canjust about anything into a soup

For lunches I have often:

homemade chili made with frozen vegetables, TVP or meatless burgers or whatever meat you want. I make the chili veggie style & freeze it in individual containers.

Salad + tuna or chicken.

Wrap with tuna or chicken + veggies

Soup

WW pasta or rice with meat + veggie

If you have a Trader Joe's near you they sell vacuum packed salmon & tuna "burger" in patty shapes & they don't stink like regular fish does.

a stirfry... lean meat lots of veggies no starch alittle soy and seasame oil
i do it all the time
instead of cornstarch to thicken the sauce use alittle peanutbutter
it works
