knee soreness

louden_swain said:
Make sure that you are treating the squat as a hip exercise and not a knee. Practice squatting over a low bench, box, or chair. Put those hips back.

keep in mind stress on the knees, or anything is not inherently bad. Only excessive stress is bad.

nope havnt jumped the weight.

the more i think about it i know i come forward off my heals when im really struggling towards the end of my reps, so that could definatly be it, but ill definatly try some box squat like moves, could i get away using an flat bench? because we dont have boxes or anything at my gym.

ill definatly do my best to get some video, ill be doing legs on friday i think but would it maybe work if i just got a pole and filmed myself doing them at home? or do i really need some weights on there to see what im really doing?

ok i think it got it wired.

sorry no video but my camera has decided to drain the battery continuisly. the fuck.

anyway, squats yesterday, just spread out my stance an inch or two on each side and i hit a a ~25lb PR.

so stoked, plus no knee soreness at all!

oh yeh!

thanks to everyone who commented.

My left knee gets sore for about a day after doing squats. I think it's my form. I'm not leaning forward enough.
