Um, I used to eat about 3, sometimes 4 cans of tuna a day for years until out of the fucking blue I started getting strange phobias and anxiety. In the middle of this shit, I read in the paper that the way the FDA tests mercury toxicity in tuna sucks ass and that there's plenty of reason to believe you can get mercury poisoning from todays tuna if you eat enough of it. I checked out the symptoms of mercury poisoning and it was a dead ringer. I stopped eating tuna entirely, started taking plenty of vitamin E and now, several months later, I'm cured. I'm convinced I had chronic mercury poisoning from unreasonably high tuna consumption.
