Have you tried hitting that cardio like there is no tomorrow???

Don't cut back much on cals or you will hold onto that tire. Increase cardio instead, try 2 weeks of intensive, 6 days a week, 75% MHR cardio.

Make sure your diet is 100% on... no cheating at all while you concentrate on that shit...

WIth all the ABS workout you do, most likely you have some terrific definition below the fat, so no need to try and grow your abs out of the fat. Concentrate on burning the fat.

Sadly, some people will need to go below 10% to see them... Most likely you have had that Michelin since a long time, right?

Are you doing steady state cardio right now?

If you are, I suggest you drop that. Try HIIT instead.

Also, is it possible you need to adjust your diet? I mean, food choices and amounts?

I've had the michelin thing since I wrestled at 145 in H.S.....

just switched from HIIT 20-25 mins to 30 mins of steady state run/bike at about 65-75% MHR

there's def north and south of michelin tire, but that thing wont budge!

yea i've had the tire for a while now!! lol

i was doing some cardio but i had stopped recently...whats the " HIIT" u guys talk about?

HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training

Usually about 30 min along, done about 2-3x a week.

For example:

5 min - warm up
20 min - intervals
5 min - cool down

* Intervals should be INTENSE. I mean, gut busting, chest heaving, "I think I am going to die" hard.

* Intervals can vary in length, but usually are something like this:
1 min hard - 1 min easy
1 min hard - 2 min easy
30 sec hard - 1 min easy
etc.

* Easy Interval is to help you recover, so you can give the Hard Interval 110%. It should really be easy.

* Hard Interval should not go over 1 min in length. If you can keep going, then you need to increase the intensity or speed.

* Sprints are good - either on a track or on a treadmill. The StepMill is another good machine. But, you can do HIIT on anything.

* Treat HIIT like a weight workout. Your next meal should be immediately after and should be a Whey Shake.

* HIIT is a muscle sparing workout. It is technically NOT cardio, since it is primarily anaerobic. It can help maintain muscle, while shedding fat.

thats one thing i will never understand... how some cardio's will burn the fat in the mid sections, as oppose to isolation exersizes...
