So you want to know why I do steroids? Well I had cancer and the chemo fucked me up big time. It gave me type 2 diabetes and neuropathy. I did a shit load of research on pubmed and found that it's very common to have low test as a factor with type two diabetes. So I did a test on myself and have cured my diabetes using steroids. I have very good data show the effects of metformin and glyburide compared with testosterone usage. I showed my data to my cousin, he's one of those doctors that flies to third world countries and tries to help out, and he wants me to publish my data. He said it would help a lot of people. I told him that I would be admitting to a felony and didn't think that was a good idea.
I have added other steroids to my self composed treatment plan and have reduced my neuropathy to a very low level. I only feel it maybe one day out of the week and then only for a couple of hours. Not constantly like it used to be. My doctor told me that I would be on morphine for the rest of my life. Now I take a half tab of morphine a day to keep from going into withdrawals. Soon I will be able to quit that as well.
So if you really want to talk about health issues I am a great example of what proper use can do for someone that has undergone traumatic or extremely catabolic disease.
The only down side I have seen is my wife doesn't want me to rest my arm across her in bed anymore. She says it's to heavy. The other day she commented about the veins popping out on my arms. So I guess there is a down side but she loves to rest her head on my shoulder so all is not lost.
It was a little over two years ago that I got off chemo. I have only been using steroids for ten months and have accomplished all of this in that time. I hadn't seen my doc for the first five months of doing steroids. I went in for my appointment and he just said "WOW you look great."
