If you read all of Maverick's posts, they have one thing in common. He defends his opinions with the way he perceives himself. He demonizes the opinions of anyone who disagrees with him.

His attitude comes off to me more as someone who's trying to come to grips with why he's not doing something rather than why someone else is.

It's the same attitude that dismisses a nice car someone else has as "his dad's car" or a nice house someone buys because they inheirited money. He pumps himself up by trivializing the accomplishments of others. It's the hallmark of an immature and jealous person, ie, most people walking around today.

This isn't 1980. The age of the meathead is over. The juicers at your gym are 35 and upper middle class. Rather than dismissing anything anyone else accomplishes as trivial, try focusing your energy into matching then exceeding their accomplisments. If you're satisfied with what you've accomplished at 27 years old, then not only are you ignorant, you're an idiot.
