Dont sweat it man. im 27 and still have trouble talking to girls. If she gives you any hesitation, just say something like"Well, your too cute and I would be stupid not for asking" and politely excuse yourself. I had a girl shoot me down a couple month ago, saying she had a boyfriend, but the next day she somehow found the # to where I worked and left me a message. I live nearly 3hrs away so she had to put out an effort to find it.
