u learn something new everyday, i didnt really realise it was a word pertinent to the british culture, rather i thought it would be French :)
 
If you were on a low carb diet, you could eat the chicken, the cheese, and celery. You'd probably want to avoid the carrots, chips, and dip. The celery is a good pick b/c it will fill you up so you dont get wild with the chicken and cheese.
 
as you said it is a hypothetical question since you must always carry a can of tuna with you at a party :D
 
Ideally, I'd eat prior to going, then while there I'd eat all the celery I wanted, drink a lot of water, and maybe take a bit of cheese - then eat a good meal as soon as I got out of there. Even if you can pick the skin off the chicken, if it's deep fried or cooked in lord-knows-what-oils, and marinated in unknown sauces in addition to the basting sauce, I personally would leave it alone if I were dieting.

greasy chicken wings are disgusting, as is the rest of the food.

eating carrots and celery will be least damaging.
 
Normally, on greasy items, I'll get either napkins or paper towls and pad off any excess grease. Obviously this won't eliminate all the fat, though I've heard on numerous occasions that it will go down about 10% (err 10% less fat)

Any truth behind this?
 
No problem

Plan ahead and bringa PW drink and you can avoid having to even make that decision. I bring food and drink almost everywhere, and if i can't I eat on a shdule that has my last meal eaten right before I go out somewhere, so that when the engagement is over it's time to eat again.
 
right now I'm finishing up 3 pounds of microwaved bacon and i'm not on a keto diet.. the fat is flying off me. about a month ago i got measured at 15% i now have a visible 6-pack, im going for all 8 though, i down to my last four thick slices of bacon and im washing it down with a diet coke, looking good never tasted so good
