How's this for a cutting diet?

Just been laid off last night. Can't afford chicken right now so eggs is pretty much all I can afford.


Meal 1 - 3 boiled eggs ( egg white only)

meal 2 - 1 slices whole wheat toast with 1 teaspoon of natural pB and 1 boiled egg (white only) ( only 45 cals per slice of whole wheat bread)

meal 3 - 3 boiled egg whites ( egg white only)

meal 4 - 1 slice of whole wheat toast with teaspoon natural pB and 1 boiled egg( white only)

meal 5 - 3 boiled eggs ( whites only)

and like 3 gals of water a day!

so what do you think? Any suggestions as to what I can add?
 
Dude... if u're gonna do eggs only for any length of time, u're nuts. BUT... no one understands financial situations more than me, I promise u that.

Do urself a favor, buy jumbo eggs, and eat some yolks. Egg whites are only 30% of an eggs nutrition value, u might starve on an egg white only diet. U're gonna need way more than 12 eggs a day....

Think about getting some tuna or cottage cheese both can be found real cheap.

Even a little bologna, which is the cheapest cold cut, would be ok just do add some variety in there. SOMETHING.

Optimum Whey is like 24 bucks for 80 servings at 24gs of protein. Mr. X has a whey protein and anpb only diet that might work.

And if u're seriously gonna do that for more than a week, swallow your pride and consider getting some food stamps.

Put ur nutrition info into fitday, because ur eating like a 1,000 calories a day there with whites only.

Alright, since im feeling nice I'll calculate a rough estimate of how many cals your intaking..(paypal payments welcome)

ok so..

meal 1=51 calories
meal 2 = 152 calories
meal 3 = 51 calories
meal4= 152 calories
meal 5= 51 calories.


Ok, that is 457 calories. If I had a hamster, it would most likely require more calories than this. This is the most dangerous attempt at a cutting diet ever. Not only will almost all of your losses be in the form of muscle, but you are severely starving yourself. One thing you could add to your diet is about 1700 calories if you want to lose weight effectively.

Chicken is relatively cheap as well..you can get 10lbs of it for about 10 dollars if you go to a surplus store. Eat more clean carbs (oats, brown rice, etc) eat healthy fats (whole eggs instead of just whites, fish oils, anpb is decent, almonds, walnuts, etc) and get at least your bodyweight in protein.

I assure you with the diet you are on you will eventually run completely out of energy, get extremely pissed off do to almost no carbohydrates, and then crash and end up gaining much more bodyfat then you started off with.

now go eat immediately, thx

I was thinking the same thing as soon as I saw that...

I only weigh 185lbs but it is amazing how much food I have to take in (CLEAN FOODS) to reach an amount of calories my body needs to function... let alone thinking about losing or gaining.

then why are you eating so little????!?!
