How to get that divide between pecs?

Jolly:

Yeah, I actually did those tonight in my workout...except I did them with palms facing in. I'll try them facing forward and see how it feels.

Im going to have to pull the diet/low bf% card out on this one. I think you can do flyes/crossovers/whatever all day long, but if your diet sucks/have a high bf% it is going to be real, real hard to see any sort of separation. Sorta like abs, you can have great abdominal development, but if it is covered by a layer of "insulation" you arent going to see the six pack. My chest is one of my strong points, but due to a higher bf% then normal it doesnt look nearly as solid nor separated as it does when I cut down.

Very true, diet "eating right" is the first factor when wanting to see any definition what so ever on your body, but genes and metabolism are key players as well in this game, not so much that it plays a major hindering role, those factors can all be overcomed, there just needs to be a balance within it all to achieve the level you want.

It’s up to the individual to focus on those aspects, and with time, you will be where you want. Now I’m going to bed. It’s late. :P

Well most people have some kind of division there, at least when they do a most muscular pose. Anyway, it'll be more pronounced when you have a lot more chest mass. Therefore, cable crossovers and flyes are out as these do little to build mass. So what are they good for? Fucking up shoulders. Moving on, low bodyfat is obviously another essential.

Exactly.

Heavy Incline Barbell Presses

Don't kid yourself or fool around with cable crossovers or flies. If an underdeveloped upper chest is what you have than heavy incline barbell pressing is what you must be doing.

PM me in three months when your exploding.

GMan....one of us hate to bit on this one man. You beat me to it.

He already said he had a developed chest. He's looking for the sternum line between the pecs. That's diet...a bodyfat control issue. All the heavy inclines in the world won't give him that.

low bodyfat, genetics

You hit it right on the head.

There are so many similar questions like this all the time. Like; "How do I lengthen my triceps" "How can I make my calves ...."

Exercise and diet can only do so much. You can not change the shape of how your muscles form. No one has the exact same muscle fiber 'placement'
