how to combat water retention?

Hi girls,

Despite running for 30 mins every day and working out, I'm having a darn problem with water retention from using testosterone.

Anyone know a solution? (besides quitting the test!)

Any input is appreciated!

U should proalby list how much your taking and soem stats..

Sometimes what works for one for less water retention.. doesn't work for another..

i know frisky takes dandelion root for water rentention..

I actually bought some the other day.. so not sure how well that works..

There r also pills you can buy from health food stores.. water tight and water shed.. ( a few more brands) - I don't really like these

The only pills that have ever worked for me are prescription.. and i beleive they r high blood pressure pills.. even though i dont have high blood pressure, when i used to have water renention they worked like a charm - hydrochloorothiazide 25mg - 1/2 pill a day

Yep.. I take Dandelion root and Vitamin C.. also upped my Fluid intake and seems its helped a bit. My sodium is high right now which I am sure leads to some retention but that will be dropped closer to comp date. ;)
 
If you are on Test, you might just bloat no matter what. Until you go off, that is.

Until then, keep salt intake low, potatssium intake moderate, DRINK WATER. I would try for about 2 gallons a day if you are having problems with bloat. But watch for electrolyte imbalances - esp if salt is low.

OTC things such as Dandelion Root, Taraxatone, etc are good for SHORTER term things, but I wouldn't take everyday.

Thanks for all the tips!

Yesterday I bought the Dandelion Root and some fennel tea and lo and behold, mij weight was down by a pound and a half this morning!

I'll definitely will guzzle up all the water I can.

Besides that, I've lowered the t-dossage by half. See if that works.

Keep pumping strong!
