How often do you miss scheduled workouts?

Just wondering how many of you guys are as obsessive compulsive as I am? I met my wife 4 years ago and have not missed one scheduled workout since then. This doesn't include scheduled breaks/layoffs, which I almost never do anyway! I've gone in badly hungover, with a cold, flu, etc...

Anyone else this OCD?

yup your not alone. Dont think of it as a negative thing; i myself am proud that i have the motivation to better myself everyday. Alot of people put me down for being so dedicated; people who do this are either, Jealous, threatened, or just a prick; usually the first two.

btw you look sick in your av bro. YOU THICK MON!

Thanks, but I was going to say the same about yours

You're so right about anyone that has anything negative to say about it is usually envious, christ, I spend less time in the gym than 99% of the population spends watching TV

I go to the gym usually twice a day once to lift and once to do Cardio. now this hasnt been to difficult since I've taken 2 months off of work. Now when I go back in like 2 weeks I'm not sure if i'll be making it twice a day.But i sure as hell will not miss a liftin day.And when i can not make it to the gym I have a little set of free weights in my house so I just use them if worse comes to worse

I've been working out at home since three summers ago, and started at an actual gym last fall, and I've missed about five workouts total, when I'm scheduled six days a week. if I'm not able to go a day, I'm sure to make it up later in the week.

of course, this is excluding when I'm on vacation and EXTREMELY sick (rarely). not to boast, but I dropped from a fat 295 to a very lean/muscular 187, and it really does take dedication.

I haven't missed a workout for a year. I even lifted in the "gym" on the cruise ship during my vacation. I have switched from 4 day to a 3 day split, though, so it isn't much time at all.

i can relate bro, but for me its not so much going to the gym as it is all the other stuff that goes along with it.

like eating

personaly i would rather miss a workout than miss a meal.
and from time to time i do miss workouts, like if i am sore from a previous workout, or if i dont get enough rest the night before.

it is deff. a LIFE style.

I checked out the gym on the cruise ship i was on for my honeymoon and decided I was just better off using it as a scheduled lay off

Over the years I have loosened up a bit. If I feel fatigued or like I cannot give 100 percent, I will take an extra day of rest. I think it is important to listen to your body. Also if an emergency develops or a deadline approaches, I may push my workout a day or two forward. It is quite common for me to incorporate instinctive training.
