How much L-Tyrosine for adrenal support

I'm surprised no one has menioned this...so I will.

Tyrosine is essential for converting T4 to T3. So the reason it's know as an adrenal support nutrient may be simply because it allows the thyroid to function properly.

Tyrosine has a slight stimulent effect also, which is why it's used in weight loss and "brain" supplements. (And yes, it aids in melanin production)

Using any stimulent such as ECA is damaging to the adrenal system.

The ingredients in Powerdrive can be bought seperately at a quarter of the price.

Beyond a century sell N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, supposedly over twice as rapidly absorbed & bioavailable than regular L-Tyrosine. Twice as expensive too, 50 grams, $11.50, but with smaller doses it's actually more cost-effective and certainly easier to encapsulate. I'm probably using 1/4 as much, with the same apparent benefits for concentration and mood.

I'm told the active co-enzyme form of Vitamin B6, pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P,) is a great addition to L-Tyrosine and potentiates neurotransmitter production.

I've also heard the cheap inactive form of Vitamin B6 Pyridoxine HCL is worthless but can cause a harmless numbness and tingling in the extremities.

Guess which one Biotest and EAS use in their formulas.

unfortunately n-acetyl-l-tyrosine does not appear to be to be a good precursor.. at least from the research..

Really?

If that's so, I was probably taking way more L-Tyrosine than necessary for me. Sometimes less is more, particularly with anything nootropic.

I am trying to figure this out. Sorry kind of an idiot. So by taking the L-tyrosine with an ECA it would help to fight adrenal fatigue. Would this just help because it is helping to restore the adrenal glands or would keep ones cortisol levels from jumping up with an ECA? or are these the same thing

I just got a new weight loss product to try out called Metabolic Thyrolean (Prolab). Today is my first day on. I noticed it has 750mg L-Tyrosine in it (total per daily dosage I'm taking). Do you think that is a good dosage? I am new to this supplement, so I am just curious. I did not realize it had so many benefits.

Bump for someone to idiot prof this a little. I understand that this would be helpfull to the adrenal glands. I wanted to know if this would help with lowering stress hormones released when an ECA was taken. I have totally cut all stimulates after 12am to keep my cortisol levels going down after mid-day so i can recover better and not eat up all of my hard work. Or would anything else be helpfull for this.
