i'm new to the board and new to powerlifting.i have been bodybuilding for around 6-7 years and made descent gains.i would like to increase my bench press though.i have seen alot about west side training.is this something to try for someone that has trained as a bodybuilder?thanks for any help:alien:  :alien:  :alien:  :alien:  :alien:

go to elitefts.com and look up bench press articles in the articles section. Then go to deepsquatter.com and read the bench press articles there. Big bad bench. how to bench 500 easy, how to bench 600 easy. are all good articles. Read anything and everything written by Louie Simmons, and Dave Tate.

After you have read this stuff come back and ask specific questions. Until you have read this, it is hard to discuss the topic, as you are unfamiliar with the language necessary for the discussion.

I always suggest strength training to anyone...even bodybuilders. There are a couple of bodybuilders that even train with Louie Simmon on the power lifts.
