No, nothing OTC. Go to a doctor and get a proper endocrine panel done, you'll have your levels artificially skewed otherwise. If anything your thyroid is LOW it doesn't need to be "controlled." And you don't want to artificially jack your test. levels until you know what they're at naturally.

How old are you, anyway?

OK so I tried to call many endocrinologists they all say i need a referal from my family doctor to be seen by them. I called my family doctor in hopes a blood test I took a year ago would give her a sign to let me see a endocrinologist she said my past test for my thyroid and all other levels were normal? said to come in to see her and get another test? I have no insurence so her plus the endocrinologist's bill will be tons and if its normal a year ago should i bother? I've had the same problem I year ago working out i can lose fat but not gain muscle. I understand a endocrinologist's test is a much mor detailed one but if I was normal on my last test?????

I have no insurence

oh, well you'd be fucked then even if you got the results.

'Anti Aging' meds, when prescribed, are insanely expensive. What costs me $2 a bottle to make in my bathroom would be sold under guvvmint approval to you at a trifling $500+ a bottle.

God Bless Big Pharm :)

diet down, do whatever you did last time and then some to drop the weight so long as it includes lifting as well as cardio, once you get down to a lower body fat run Test E @500mg for 10 wks with an anti-E, if you have low test and no insurance this is the route to take, you will not be disappointed....

thanks for the input bruda

But shoot, I wouldent know where to get that shit and even iff I did i suffer from pannick attack severe anxiety and Im only guessing but wouldent roids make me trip out even worse? just heard so much shit roids scare me I got a son to look after haha i'll prolly take it trip myself out like a pannick attack dork and really blow my heart up. I have always wondered but im scared I will want to start off very slow when and if im done my body will freek out cuz it dosent have more to support it and my body's never had muscle before. do they screw with your thyroid natural testosterone levels?

I think that you said that you were new to working out. So, don't be so hard on yourself. Calling yourself names and beating yourself up won't help you. It can only hurt.

Start eating REAL PROTEIN, not just living on those shakes. Eat lots of lean protein and no more than 2 shakes per day. Your body should have real food. Try to make the bulk of your diet lean protein and veggies.

There are people on here who can give you a good training routine for weights, and, in addition you might want to do one 45 min. session or 2 30 min. sessions of cardio per day. Make the cardio intense enough (work around 80% MHR).

don't worry about getting ripped now, you need to shed the fat and the muscle will appear.

what is your diet now? Give a break down of what you eat and what time.

fuck protein shakes at your point

I just got back from vacation.

Don't just accept her opinion of what your levels are, ASK her for a copy of your test results and then come back here and post them up. I've said it before, I'll say it again, what a GP interprets as "NORMAL" when it comes to hormones is TOTALLY different than what an endocrinologist would find acceptable.

If worst comes to worst and money is an issue there ARE OTC things you can take, but the veterans would be better at recommendations for products.
