Hello Everyone - I'm hoping to get some input on gaining some better definition in my legs. I've been logging now since 2/17/05 and have made some progress:
ht: 5' 1" - I am blessed/cursed with very muscular legs which are also my main fat magnet!
wt: 130lbs (down 1 lb)
I purchased the fat calipers that Shadow recommended and after about 10 measurements of between 12-17%, the most common measurement I obtained (6 times) was 14%. My tanita scale says 22% - go figure!
chest: 34" (no change, thankfully)
waist: 27" - down 1"
hips: 36" - down 2"
thighs: 23.5" - no change
calves: 14.5" - no change
biceps: 12.25" - down 0.25"
All of my diet/exercise info is in my log. My question is: I know that one cannot "spot reduce," but I really want to get more definition in my legs, ie, a better quad sweep and more pronouned hams. I read Miss 24K's log and leg workout and am wondering if at this point would it be better for me to start using high reps/low weights, or something else? Is there anyone else that has had this problem, and what worked best for them? I really want to look good in my Bikini in Cabo on 4/30!
