Exercise called chest busters question (dumbbell fly-press)

Hello EF training guys, I have quick Q... How many days of the week can I do chest busters (dumbbell fly-press) or what would be the recovery time in between? I want to focus on developing my chest muscles since it's the part of my body that I want to be more visible when I wear t shirts. I'm just not sure how many times a week I can work my chest and if this particular exercise I can do all the time or do i have to switch it up.

As a general rule, you want to wait at least 48-72 hours to train a body part again to ensure enough time has passed to allow that muscle to recover and repair.

Remember that when you are in the gym training, you are actually breaking down your muscles. It is when you rest and recover that your muscles repair and grow.

I would train chest 2-3 days per week. Any more then that is going to be over kill and actually over productive. Hit it HARD, stimulate growth, and then provide food and give it time to rest and recover.

i would do it 1-2X per week .. 3 times is too much unless you are doing light weight

it is a good idea to split up your routines and don't just focus too much on certain muscle groups. 90% of guys in the gym develop imbalances because they work certain muscles more than others

One or twice a week is more than enough. Dont forget to hit other muscle groups as well, otherwise you will get disproportioned and look silly even with a well developed chest

When it comes to training, it is not always best to train much. After all, your muscles actually grow when you have rest, so you always need to make sure that you are giving them enough time to get recovered, and grow as much as they can.

Therefore, I would say that you should have plenty of this exercise by doing it twice per week. This would allow your chest to have enough rest in between those workouts, and get fully recovered.

For most parts 1-2 times per week is plenty. If you hit a plateau or want to do something very different just keep switching it up. Honestly, train chest 7 days in a row or something crazy like that. The body is amazing at adapting. It is not something you want to do all the time but a good shock now and then can work wonders.
