EFA reccommendations

I was wondering how much people here are using for EFAs while cutting or bulking. Will Brink suggests 1 tbsp of flax oil (or fish oils) per 75 lbs of bodyweight for cutting (that's the US tablespoon). I'm using 1 tbsp per day, though by his numbers, I should be using 3.

How much do you think is a good amount?

In terms of flax, it depends. I don't follow the 1tbsp/75 lbs because of other EFA's I'll consume on a daily diet. Here is a list of fats I will/may consume on any given day

* Flax oil
* Fish oil
* Natty PB
* Almond butter
* Olive oil
* Coconut oil
* Walnuts and almonds

There are more, but that is a broad range of 'healthy' fats

sawastea, where do you buy your oils? you seem to be always updated on supplements/retailers :o

artrius, post your complete diet, this way we could give you better suggestions as to how much EFA's to consume.

Flax @ Barlean's / Udo's / DPS
Fish oil @ iherbs / Costco
Coconut oil @ Mercola / Health food stores

Another product worth mentioning, though it's a lignan, is sesamin oil.

Wow it's amazing what I learn.. I had always heard the reason pina coladas were bad for you (besides sugar and alcohol) was because coconut oil was terrible for you... unbelievable.

Is it proper to spread out your 10 grams of EFA consumption or however much you take each day across a few meals? Or is this a non-issue?

Oops, sorry, didn't see it.

The diet looks good with the modifications. When do you find the time to eat so much? :)
As was suggested get rid of the bacon and substitute that for some healthy fat, like fish oil caps.
Other than that, your ratios look fine.

Well, I'm in a Navy school right now, and we have a 5 or 10 minute break each hour. The reason I'd eat on each one is because its sometimes hard to slam down what I'd have to eat for that hour in 5 minutes, so I spread it out to make it easier. Since we're generally not allowed to eat during class, I have to wait until break. I've dropped the bacon now, although I miss it already ;)
