Eatting the same food is getting me sick, what can I do?

Ok I have been on my bulking diet for 9 days now and I am starting to get sick from two of my foods, these are two that I didn't really like to begin with and are hard to just "chow" down because I have to eat alot of it. First is eggs, I was scrambling them the entire week but today I made an omlet and put a little american cheese in it which wasnt bad, so I think I fixed the problem of not being able to eat eggs. My second problem is tuna - I can't cancle out the taste of it. I like salmon but its alot more expensive than tuna, so instead I mix 1 can of tuna (2.5 servs) 1 can of salmon (1 servs) some mayo and some relish. I can't eat it anymore! The first day I ate it with 2 pieces of bread - fine. Now I can't even eat it with 4 pieces! What can I do? This meal is giving me 55g of protein so its a pretty big meal, is there anything I can replace it with? I was thinking just not eatting the tuna and just eatting 1 can of salmon plus some protein mix, but I much rather have food since I'm already drinking alot of mix. I also can't eat cottage cheese, so I can't replace it with that. Thanks
 
I'm sure the diehards will say that "real" food is best, but I depend upon my protein shakes. I eat turkey and chicken for most of my protein.

Salmon gives me gas pretty bad. :p
 
Dude, I'm the same way with eggs. I can handle them scrambled for about three days, then I can't take it anymore. So a buddy of mine told me to put them in a shake:

10-12 egg whites (one or two yokes is ok)
shot of protein powder
3 packets of equal
cup or so of ice

I also add flax oil. Frozen strawberries too once in a while. It sounded pretty gross to me at first, but it actually tastes very good. You'll be surprised.

But remember, with raw eggs, there's a risk of salmonella which I'm told is pretty damn unpleasant. But I've been doing four or five of these shakes a week for months now without any problems. Plus there's always the debate about whether eggs should be cooked or not, but that's another post.

As for your tuna alternative, I agree with mlomker. Go with turkey and chicken.
 
I like deli turkey meat, perhaps a turkey sandwhich instead of tuna is a good idea - thanks.

I don't like drinking alot of fluids in the morning because I go to school for 9 hours and I'll be damned to hell and back before I use a school rest room, just a couple weeks ago some girl got crabs from it - and of course theres the smell of it not being flushed for a year (Ever smelled rotten pussy? - multiply that by 10 and you get this smell). I think my omlet is good anyways, atleast for a while.

As a side note - that equate sugar can give you brain damage, my moms friend use to replace all her sugar with equate and she ended up in the hospital with brain tremors and bi-polar type symptoms. After she stopped eatting the sugar she went back to normal.

you state things like if they were the bottom line man.
To get big, you should rest, eat 1g of protein per lb, LOTS and LOTS of carbs (more than protein!!), and train hard as shit. You will inevitably grow. Red meat is good, but so are tuna and eggs. You will still grow if you don't eat 2 lbs of steak a day.:rolleyes:

I don't know where you're from or what your history is or what you goals are. Please enlghten us because what little I've read of your posts smacks of superstition more than education. I know you're a deeper person than that but I can't figure it out from your posts on this board.
