I'll bet my left nut that out of the 43% of guys who voted for dumbells, 30% of them cant bench for shit. Straightbar Flat bench is definitely the best! I'll tell you why.....Guys who have strong flat benches(straightbar) can usually throw around alot of weight with heavy dbells even though they usually dont train with them, however, guys who train ONLY with Dbells and can throw around 120#ers or more dont necessarily have strong flat benches. The point is that a strong straightbar flat will equal strength on basically all other chest excersizes. The same doesn't apply to Dbells. IMO

This pertaining to the poll on the best mass builder for chest of course.

Thats your opinion ...whenever my barbell bench is in a slump i'll switch to heavy dumbells for several weeks and then when i go back to barbell im always stronger. So i believe that heavy dumbell presses can increase your barbell press.

I like dumbells, dont get me wrong. However I only use them as a break in between heavy bench days(I do two heavy routines & then a light dumbell routine)to give my shoulders a break. There is a ton more range of motion on Dbells & they give me what I need while once again sparing my rotator cuffs-- for at least that week. Your right though---just my opinion
