Ok i'm sure this is probably a stupid question and will probably be torn up for asking but here goes anyway.
I wanna lean up so changing up my program throwing in some cardio and also gotta clean up my diet but i can't get away from carbs. I find it hard to fill my diet and meals without eating breads or pastas, if anyone can give me some suggestions on what to substitue let me know it would be greatly appreciated

sweet potatos are a good carb source.

You would probably receive more help if you posted your diet questions on the diet forum;)

you don't need to get away from carbs at all, but you do need to manage them and be selective.

stick to low/med gi carbs such as
yams/sweet potatoes, beans/legumes, oatmeal, green veggies.

if you really want to eat breads and pasta
then try rye or pumpernickel bread, and whole wheat pasta instead of the typical white, higher GI types.

actually, I'm not on CKD or Atkins, but I tried that low carb pasta (9net grams).......and it really is decent if you make a good ass sauce....PLUS, it's loaded with protein (like 25g)....granted it's soy, but none-the-les.........same with the low carb breads.....really no reason to eat the reg. stuff, when this shit is just as good.....

for bread u can buy some low carb tortilla's with only 3 grams of carbs each. these things are good and keep my bread craving away

Best thing to do with this scenario is to place the majority of your carb cantaining meals around your workout and/or when you are active and taper or cut them off when your are not. This allows you to encorperate carbs into your diet giving you the balance and sence of satiety that you want all the while keeping into mind that your body really only needs that "pure energy" at certain times. Just try not to eat carbs that too calorie dense such as potatoes, rice, beans etc. while they may be low on the GI scale they have alot of calories for relatively smaller portion sizes. Biggest key is to keep calories below maitenence levels and have enough protein in your diet. Add your carbs after those requirements are met.
