Deadlifts at beginning or end of back workout

huge bump man ^^ i do deads first because it takes the most out of you. No way i could do deadlifts after the rest of my exercises at my best. Who cares if deadlifts fatigue you somewhat for a lift like lat pulldowns? I'd rather that than lat pulldowns fatigue me for deads.

You have to get them in first because you want to go as heavy as possible. At the end of a work out you will be to drained to reach your potential. It's like you wouldn't do skull crushers and flyes than go and do your bench press.

I do deads, then chins, then rows then weighted hypers on my deadlift day. yeah my deadlift day is pretty much a back workout. But by splitting up my deads and rows with chins inbetween it takes care of the lower back pumps. I tryed going straight from deads to rows but my lower back just got so pumped it was hard to do the rows.

Of course if I was a bodybuilder I would prioritise whatever my weakness was, like if my back width was lagging I would do chins then deads then rows or if my upper back/traps were lagging i would do facepulls then deads then chins then rows or whatever

I have been lifting for a while, and I think there is no way I am doing deads right or intensly enough. I usually do Deads once a week 4 sets x 3 reps, the last set might end up only being 2 reps though or even in some cases one b/c of the weight. And I don't use straps. I struggle with the weight but I am never like dead from dead lifting and incapable of having a good workout or even feel it for the rest of the week or what not. Feelings from soreness in fact last a lot longer from my squats and bench press than from deadlifts. Do you guys do higher reps? or use straps? I am sure my grip is a limiting factor and I could lift more with them, but I just can't get over the thought of relying on something other than my body lol

yea dude, u need some straps. i do a few warm ups, w/o but once i get to 315 or higher i use straps. i not a competetive lifter so i dont care, i rock the straps so i can do more weight! yes higher reps is good too, mix it up.
