I walked over a mile to Kindergarten almost every day, and then home.

This is retarded it ever went to court.

Convicted because of the potential of pedophiles.

Might as well lock parents up for driving at night with their kids in the car because of potential drunk drivers.

I doubt that I would ever have an 8 year old walk by themselves back home. I agree with others though that it could depend on the community and other factors on where they may live, but still. What the father is getting is a bit harsh though.

The irony is that there is probably a higher chance that the kid will be molested by a teacher at school and the state forces the parents to send the kids to school.
