okay so ive been bulking up for some three years now, but since i started college ive been binge drinking alot and have put some fat on. ive still got the muscle, i just need help on losing the fat for the most part. id still like to keep bodybuilding, but do you fellas think this diet is gonna achieve my goals of losing some fat and toning up abit. last year i had nice abs and although now they are bigger they are just engraved with fat. id like to lose that.

heres my new diet regime aswell i would work out three times a week in the gym for two hour sessions. play football once a week also. i should also start jogging once a week too.
oh i weigh 15stone, 6ft1, 21yrs old

breakfast
muesli cereal or weetabix skimmed milk
protein shake

snacks
pint of skimmed milk
apple
banana

lunch
6 whole eggs
wholegrain toast, peanut butter

dinner
pasta with two chicken breasts
pint of skimmed milk

snacks
chicken sandwich brownbread
peanut butter or peanuts or cottage cheese 300g
protein shake

nightime meal
can of tuna
protein shake

thats basically a typical days eating, about 220g of protein. should i cut out pasta, if so what should i replace it with.

ive completely cut out junkfood. and am going to quit drinking beer.

thanks for any help.

Without food quantities, this write up is useless. After all, you could eat 1 cup of oatmeal or 10 - I'm sure you get the point.

Please give full details of food intake.

1 stone = 14 lbs, so 210lb, not too shabby, of course weight means jack and shit, what is your bodyfat%?

What does your training look like?

Pasta for dinner = bad, whole wheat pasta good earlier in the day.

The rest isn't TOO bad, but its not just the foods that matter its calories, we need a breakdown of calories protein/carbs/fat and you need to determine how many calories a day your body is using. Read the stickies in this forum and all these questions will be answered for you.

lol, I was going to say.... not even crackin 160!?!? :)

I was going to scream about the worthless 3 year bulk hehe

I know what your saying mr x but thats hard to do for me. say a can of tuna is 250g. a bowl of ceral is 50g. a couple of slices of toast.
i havent worked out my bodyfat.
40g of peanut butter.
protein shakes are 22g protein. im not sure what the calorie intake is like,

as far as calories go, do i have to eat less than i use if i want to lose fat, cant i just put on more muscle in order to lose the fat?

get a weight for your food, then google a food chart, should be simple

If you can post quantity, I can usually judge calories + p/f/c from it. I don't see how hard it is to tell me if you ate 1 cup of oatmeal or 3, or if you had 1 can of 10oz. tuna or 4. You catch my drift.
