Ok, couple of things, firstly there's this little guy in the gym, 120lbs soaking wet but he was banging out 157lbs on the bench today! He's gotta be one of the strongest guys at my gym pound for pound. I think I'm gonna try talking him into doing SL5x5 he already asked me to show him how to deadlift. He seems keen and willing to learn and work hard.

Second thing, why is fish so good for you? Seriously, I hate seafood unless it's been battered, deep fat fried and served on yesterday's papers with some chunky ass chips ("fries" for all my American bredrins) but last week I started swapping in fresh fish for meat! I'm trying out this new thing, I was reading about eating right for your blood type and apparently my rare blood type AB is better at absorbing the nutrients from fish rather than animal meat!

This whole blood type thing may just be a load of old bollix but I'm gonna give it a go. Shovelling down vile tasting seafood for a month or so won't kill me, I lived on fish in Portugal (prolly why I was so skinny back then...) and if it IS a better protein source for me it'll show in better results won't it? Besides I take 8,000mg fish oil per day a fish rich diet should provide more of those good fats surely?

Bro.

The blood type diet is controversial. But I know first hand experience it's real and works. It's also been scientifically proven how our blood reacts differently to the different strains of sugar. Lectins effect our stomach flora.. It's all there. (I was actually going to be in a documentary about it with a buddy, but it was paused to raise funds)

So with that being said. AB is a tough one. You have less stomach acid than most other blood types, so it's harder for you to digest red meats, thus making fish a better resource.

I'm type O. I've followed the diet strictly before and can tell you I've never felt better in my life. I gave up gluten. And let me tell you, after five months of bein gluten free. I went to subway one day, had a foot long on wheat... And let's just say IBS kicked in within minutes and I felt sick for days.

If you eat something and notice you get bloated. That's inflammation. Inflammation is the beginning source of all sickness. It's because your body creates white blood cells to protect whatever it isnt recognizing has entered the body.

I noticed when I eat 100% to my blood type. I feel great, I don't get bloated or tired, and I lose weight like its nothin.

So I encourage you to follow it closely man. Pay real attention to how you feel.

Thanks for that Bader! I was skeptical of the diet, first thing I did when I heard of it was research criticisms of it. After what you said I'm gonna give it a go and stick to it 100% just sucks that I hate fish! On the plus side I'm OK to have dairy which I love but usually avoid! (Ha! Suck on THAT bitch!)

I'm actually trying to find out which fish would be best, I've been eating cod recently cos it's cheap! But there's gotta be something better and if I'm gonna eat shit I don't like I should at least eat the best!

It's really funny to look at it, and sucks at the same time. That most of the things I crave the most are what is worst for my body.

I love bread, I love ice cream... But gluten and dairy as horrible from me... The reason why I crave those things after cutting them out... Is because the body begins to heal itself and when healing the areas where that food caused damage it brings up kind of a cellular memory of the food and that's why you crave it... It goes away after one to two months.. That's when I really started notice how much my health improved... Corn and starches are horrible for me too.

Luckily I eat all the beef I want. :)

As for fish: salmon, tuna (I eat it straight out of the can with a little salt and pepper), cod, tilapia, mahi mahi are all great. I eat trout and bass to in the summer fishing times.

Talipia?? Mahi mahi? You're makin these up mate! Seriously pull the other one it's got bells on! Lol seriously though I'm gonna have to learn about fishies now!
