During my Friday and Saturday night carb ups I have been staying away from anything with Fructose in the ingrdients. However. My first night, Friday, I eat pancakes with syrup, low fat granola bars, cereal, some sweet tarts (dextose and malto) and I also put syrup, brown sugar and a little powdered sugar on my 4 yams I eat. I usually have a little sugar for my first meal on Saturday then straght to the oats,yams,potatoes, beans and stuff. My question is this. If someone is taking in 3, 110 carb grams from dex and malto, what can it hurt to have 20 grams of raw brown sugar. I would rather add my own to yams and oats than get it in some other crap. I also use marshmellows on the yams, they kick a.. My first meal of 3 servings of pancakes and 1/4 - 1/2 syrup sends me into another world. Some people propose no sugar on carb up(s). Just eat yams and stuff like that. Will I get teh same results with a boat load of low gi. I can eat 8 yams and 4 cups of oats in 5 hours. Oh yeh, this is a CKD BULK I am on, not the regualr keto to burn fat.
