Ckd Carb Up...are All Sugars Equal

During my Friday and Saturday night carb ups I have been staying away from anything with Fructose in the ingrdients. However. My first night, Friday, I eat pancakes with syrup, low fat granola bars, cereal, some sweet tarts (dextose and malto) and I also put syrup, brown sugar and a little powdered sugar on my 4 yams I eat. I usually have a little sugar for my first meal on Saturday then straght to the oats,yams,potatoes, beans and stuff. My question is this. If someone is taking in 3, 110 carb grams from dex and malto, what can it hurt to have 20 grams of raw brown sugar. I would rather add my own to yams and oats than get it in some other crap. I also use marshmellows on the yams, they kick a.. My first meal of 3 servings of pancakes and 1/4 - 1/2 syrup sends me into another world. Some people propose no sugar on carb up(s). Just eat yams and stuff like that. Will I get teh same results with a boat load of low gi. I can eat 8 yams and 4 cups of oats in 5 hours. Oh yeh, this is a CKD BULK I am on, not the regualr keto to burn fat.
 
Hey bro, from what i gathered, is that while on CKD you start your carb up with high-GI(fast) sugars, thus rapidly replenishing your depleted (or so it should be) muscle/liver glycogen. As the carb up proceeds you introduce carbs with lower GI values thus producing a longer-lasting source of energy which you will expedite with your workouts throughout the subsequent week

As far as fructose, i think some fruit will be beneficial during carb-up:anti-oxidants, variety of vitamins and soluble fibers which help in glucose disposal and are great for liver. Also having liver glycogen stores full can be beneficial, so as to prevent muscle catabolism, as muscle glycogen gets depleted.
 
The only thing I worry about is staying away from fructose. Other than that I just eat carbs all day. I do try to get high gi in the morning and taper back to low gi later in the day. Every second carb up or so I go nuts and eat whatever I want. It did not seem to screw up my weight loss, so I imagine during bulk it would be fine.
