chest twice a week?

i want to do chest twice a week once on monday and once on thursday, thursday being my speed day what do you guys think?
 
If by chest you mean bench, then this sounds good. I personally go Sunday and Wednesday, but the particular days don't matter. Just make sure you have 72 hours rest between the sessions.

Change your focus. If your goal is to improve your bench, that is what you should be concentrating on. The body parts that get trained come second to this. You do not train chest, shoulders, and triceps, you train whatever is necessary to improve your bench, even if it is your left pinky toe and an ingrown hair folicle on the lower right side of your scrotum.

If you are trying to build size, I still think it is okay. However, if you train for strength, size will usually follow.
 
I bench 2x a week,

ME BP Saturday a.m.
DE BP Tuesday p.m.

The recovery time is very good and the timed dumbell presses after help recovery especially when using bands. The chest automaticly grows from all the benching so no need for cable crossovers or flyes.

how do i target these areas. I feel that they are affecting my bench press. i could easily put up an extra 20lbs if i could smooth those lagging areas out
 
we do chest twice weekly most of the time and feel good about doing it. We have a lot of success doing it that way. We do DE on monday ME on Thurs

Irritate your wife and she will target at least one of them for you.
