Cardio...Post Up!

Something I don't see a lot of but I think is worth mentioning is your commitment to cardio. I know personally that trying to maintain a cardio routine while on tren is difficult. I also know that an age old debate exist about whether cardio is important in comparison to goals, diet, age or current cycle. What I'm most interested in is seeing what your cardio routine is, and if you feel it is something you MUST incorporate to fight genetics. I for one tend to carry a few extra lbs in the middle, therefore cardio is a must (although I do hate it).

4X per week
Treadmill @ 9% incline walking between 3.6-4.0 for 25 mins
I do some running once a week, but never more than 1.5 miles

I think cardio is extremely important. Most of the people on here will never be true BBers. So maintaining a great overall fitness level should be a big priority. And that includes cardio. I speak for myself when i say this, but who wants to be so big that they get winded after they walk up a flight of stairs or even after sex. Not good IMO.

I know im more on the opposite wing than most when it comes to cardio, i do triathlons. But i am in no way a typical skinny lil nothing either, 5'9, 205lbs, 12% off season.

But i think everyone should at least do some sort of cardio, no matter what their goals are, bc after all, the heart should be the most important muscle of all.

Very true. I think the worst is getting winded during/after sex. Uncool.

I grew up playing every sport. always active. Most athletic in high school etc. When I got to college I just lifted and didn't do much cardio... I gained weight and some was fat. I stopped going to the gym for a couple years and it got pretty bad. I've lost 30 lbs from getting back into the gym, traing right and eating right. I do cardio a few times per week. It depends on my day now per omega. sometimes before workout and sometimes after. 10- 30 minutes. I use eliptical. When I was just getting back into the gym this summer I played some ball and I was so damn winded after a few times up and down the court it was embarrassing. Cardio is a must.

Gotta do Cardio.

I generally do 30-40 minutes 1st thing in the AM on a empty stomach.

I rotate between eliptical and treadmill. Doing either 30 minutes straight through or 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after weight training.

I'd like to know Omega's take on this.

currently in offseason, so size a bit more of a priority, but with that said I still get 2-3 45min sessions 1st thing AM empty stomach on the treadmill 4%incline @ 3-3.5mph.

stats, 5'11 235-240lbs 10%bf

I like to stay pretty lean so even while bulking (I clean bulk) I do 30 min on my Precore586 5 times per week prior to my first meal. After I eat I head to the gym hit it hard then do another 15-20 min on a precore at the gym. Additionally I train in the martial arts attending 2 fighting classes and one weapons class per week. Some of the classes could be considered a cardio workout.

I do cardio 3-4 times a week between my lifting days. I alternate between uphill walking at a 8-15 degree incline and the stair master. Cardio is very important even in the off season. Cardio really helps my recovery and keeps me at a reasonable bf%.
