I started working out about a year ago. The result is more or less OK but not spectacular. I used to weigh about 135 and now I weigh about 145 so I haven't really gained a lot. I'm about 6' tall. My question is if I should take on more carbs or calories if I want to be more muscular? Or maybe both?
My diet is between 2 and 4 slices of bread with peanut butter or jelly in the morning, a banana or two at 10 AM, just a regular lunch consisting of bread or a sandwich or two. Then at 4 an apple and dinner is most of the time some vegetables and meat or fish. I try to have a snack after dinner but I always have a feeling I'm full. So it isn't easy to eat much more.
I know this is not ideal but when I eat more I gain weight in the wrong places! I could really use some advise. Thanks!
