All adding cardio is going to is create a calorie defacit that you can just simply get by eating less.
Are you absolutely positive your bodyfat is going up?
If so then yeah, wether you're on or not, lower your calories. You really don't have to eat 5000 calories a day to grow. For instance OK I'm 6'3" and when I'm fully carb depleted and pretty much drained of ecess water, I weigh 175 at last weigh in, and I'm dieting on under 1000 calories daily. Granted I don't do this for long periods of time before I refeed for a couple days, but what I'm saying is for example, for someone of my build, if I have to cut on that little, do you think I'd have to eat even 3000 calories a day to bulk? It's just my honest opinion that from experience... Unless you're heavily geared out.. That the numbers that people toss around on these forums that are needed to bulk are so fucking far in excess it's just stupid.
Just cut back on your calories, I know it's probably a psychological hurdle to overcome cause you're probably brainwashed to thnk that you need those cals or you wont grow muscle, but if you're putting on too much fat what do you expect to do to rectify it? yeah you put on fat anytime you bulk, but shit, there's a point when you know that you're putting on too much especially while geared up.
You know what I recommend even further, treating your diet like you were dieting, eat pristine, but just in greater amounts. For some reason peolpe get this notion that it's OK to eat like a slop when you're bulking and geared up and eating "good" is only for when you're dieting. Try and get almost all of your fats from omega oil liquid, like 2 tbsp daily or something, and the trace fats in meat, and eat like 300 grams of protein daily, whatever room you have left over for carbs, time them before and after your workouts. Shoot for eating at 13x your bodyweight in cals for a couple weeks and see what happens.[/QUOTE]
I like your style, all well put ! i was controling Bloat ect...for 1/2 the cycle, then suddenly i felt like all hell broke loose ! my bf now is aprox 13 %, I'm 5'6", and current;ly 175 lbs, so if i can get down to atleast 9-10 % i'll be happy...Lets try your way for a couple weeks. i also bought a Food scale to help me Know how many cals of protein im eating ect.... i always buy chicken/salmon/steak/pork in 20lb bags, so i have to package my meals. the scale will help !
