pita slices with hummus (Now I know how Rooney feels by not being able to stop eating this stuff!)

LOL...I had temporarily forgotton about my addiction to pita and hummus. But yes, hummus is a total red light food for me and is forbidden to be brought into my house. Once I start, I cannot stop till I'm completely done. :chomp: ;)

Looking at your calories, it sounds like you did really well again with your meal out. I need to learn from you to be able to enjoy restaurant eating without going overboard. Good job, BG!! :verygood:

1. GREAT job on the military press record this week!
2. AWESOME job on the pullups! Keep going at them! :)
3. ENJOY your cheeseburger and fries today! Yummy! :chomp:

Oh, I wish you hadn't said that! :) Not after I ate a 5.5 oz cheeseburger, about a dozen onion rings, who knows how many french fries and a cheesecake milkshake. But, it was my "scheduled" cheat for the week and I outdid myself.

But, for some reason I don't feel bloated or sick like I usually do. Not sure if this is a result of the sesapure I just started a few days ago or just wasn't as greasy as I thought it would be. Hopefully that will register on the scale in the morning, but I think I've seen the last of 133 for a few days. Only about 4 more going-away parties to go... :worried:

Wow - thanks!! I'm feeling pretty confident in the weight room lately and not afraid to push myself anymore. All I need now is a workout partner/trainer to push me a little harder and I'll be feeling pretty good. That'll have to wait for NY, though.

Definitely enjoyed that cheeseburger and fries! :chomp:

1/2 c oatmeal w/ 1/4 c rasp, 1 scoop whey and splenda
1 liter water

Workout:

7.5 miles of trail running

This workout was just plain awesome! To think I was able to run up and down a mountain for 7.5 miles and not get real winded was an incredible feeling. Not to mention beautiful scenery to boot. I have no idea how many cals I burned (pedometer is packed in a box somewhere). If you've never tried trail-running you have to experience it just once. My calves got a serious workout, which is great because I really need to start blasting them soon. I was just so exhilarated I felt like I could go another 7.5 miles!

BG, I notice you eat a lot of cottage cheese. Can you recommend any brands? Do you get non-fat or 1%? I'm going to be brave and get some the next time I go grocery shopping.

Ugh, good luck! I get 1% and I actually can't stand it. But I've found if I put in a packet of splenda, some fruit (any kind of mashed berries will do) and a little natty PB it's tolerable. :)

For the next two days, will be trying my hardest to clean out what food I have in the fridge. May have some strange combos in here for meals, but have to unplug the fridge Wed night and want to get rid of as much as possible before that. Should be interesting... :worried:
