Thanks IP! I've got to make some new goals, once this move is out of the way. It's too hard to try to concentrate on both right now. I'm giving myself permission to slide a little the next 3 weeks, then hopefully it's back on it by February.

My workout was going oh so great while I was doing my abs. Went to take the plates off the military press (because some idiot was too lazy to do it!) and preceded to drop the 45-lb plate on my big toe.

Took a while for me to realize what happened until the pain hit! Somehow I managed to finish my workout and keep that toe moving, but my shoe kept getting smaller and smaller. It is now black and blue and twice the size it should be. So, the rest of my day will be spent with an ice pack and hoping it's not broken. Although the increasing pain does not give me much hope. So much for my consistent cardio routine I've been able to get into. At least now I can sleep in...

OUCH, BG!! :worried: That totally sucks. I hope the ice pack will help and if you don't feel the pain going down, take some ibuprofen and please do go to see a doctor.

I iced it and popped 4 advil this afternoon. Unfortunately, the swelling hasn't gone down and the pain still shoots up my foot with every step. I've taped it to the other toe so we'll see what happens. The bruising is actually on top of my foot and I think the plate hit at the intersection of the toe and the foot. If it doesn't feel better by Monday I'll go have it x-rayed. Not much they can do about a toe, but I hope I didn't crack a bone in the foot. :worried:

Partly because I was feeling bad and partly because I wanted to go one last time before I left town for good, I hit my favorite chinese place for supper tonight. It'd been 5 days since my last cheat and to squeeze in all the places I want to go, I've added an additional meal.

The good news - I loaded up on water and won-ton soup (even though sodium count is high) and didn't go hog wild. I just had very small, in some cases one, bite of all my favorites. I just placed an order for sesapure as well, to help me through the next 3-6 weeks, just in case...

4:15 pm: 3 Levorex
3 oz water

4:25 pm: 2 Glucorell-R

Meal 3: 4:45 pm

Chinese food (very little of all my favorites :chomp: )
51 oz water

Meal 4: ~9:30 pm (before bed)

2 T natty PB

Ouch! So sorry to hear about dropping that plate on your toe. I hope that it feels better for you soon. Take care!
