Beers and Fitness

Ive stopped using supplements and now im trying to live a testosterone lifestyle, getting better sleep, eating the right diet while completing a good workout. But the one thing i need to sort out is my drinking. I only drink maybe twice a month. Im usually drink pints of beer, but recently i found out that hops is very estrogenic, and counter productive to my gains. Im thinking of just drinking cider, but thats packed full of sugar. Anyone any thoughts on this?

Dude, lay off the booze. My love is ice cold PBR tall boys. Alcohol has no place in the fitness world. It is pure evil because it is acceptable to get loaded everywhere. But if you must. Vodka is the only way. Not cheap crap, pricey organic stuff. And no more than a couple ounces at any time. And if you run any cycle booze is the down fall.

Its hard with social commitments, i might stick to vodka. But il probably end up drinking half a bottle in a night. Which would probably be worse than drinking 5 beers. What about light beers, like coors? or switching to bottles like corona?

Vodka and diet soda (diet sprite or 7 up) or crystal light

Rum and diet coke

Less calories than beer. Get loaded :)

I just updated my myfitnesspal app and cals add up fast with beers.... I drink the diet beer though..Sam Adams Light :)

Go on calorie counter or other type site. Enter in a six pack of what you like. You will crap yourself in the carbs and calories. Put in other drinks it's pretty cool.but hey I love my beer just I hate looking like a blowfish in the gym. But you said in earlier post on a couple times a month. If so drink it up. Just not everyday right.

I save most of my drinking time for summer. Ill binge drink about once sometimes twice a week. I can maintain my bf and mass but its hard to make gains when alcohol is involved. Oh and def no ph/aas with alcohol. I know its bad but I really like to enjoy myself in the summertime.

The cals is only one thing.....

It's the impact on natural anabolic hormone production that's the main concern.....

48hrs after one unit of alcohol, natural test down by 50%, that's before we even start to talk about natural GH levels, sleep
Patterns etc etc.....

Plus it's oestrogenic....
