Wowsa... I'm kind of blasted after my back workout.

I did 6 sets dumbbell rows, 6 sets bentover barbell rows, and 3 sets low rows.... DB Rows peaked out last two sets at 120's at around 3-4 and the last two sets of barbell rows peaked out around 295... for around 5 or so... I got 315 last week for around 4ish, but I just didn't have gas this week, and my wrist hurt for some reason.

I did biceps.. only like 3 sets dumbbell curls and 3 sets hammers... along with 3 on reverse EZ curl. My wrist hurts alot on curls... I need a wrist wrap to even curl the weight... I can still do 60's with my left wrist...

Any suggestions with the wrist?

Same question for the wrist. My left wrist has been hurting for the past few weeks. I have been wrapping pretty tight when I workout, and that has been helping and as a result it hurts less, but on some lifts even wrapping does not help. I know the rest, is the probably the best course of action, but that is hard to do.

stick to only pronated or neutral grip back work for a while and drop the bicep curls or stick to hammer curls only. chances are you strained something and putting torque on it under load isnt the best way to let it heal.

Citruscide,

I'm with Bignate on this one. Stick with the Hammers. Bang em' out and try to stay away from anything that you can feel immediate pain from. It sounds obvious but true.
Nice back workout man, good endurance. Looks tight.

When you are doing those bar rows are you using a "Yates" grip or an overhand grip?

I have been using the overhand grip forever and I have never used the "Yates" grip. What is the weight comparison compared to an overhand grip? Can you lift more or less?

Are you doing any wrist curls?
I had CRAZY bad problems doing any curling action with a straight bar for the longest time as my left wrist would ache for almost a week after..
then i picked up a set of straps(not the standard spandex ones.. these ones have these little pads on them with a plastic loop thingy... kinda hard to explain, anyways, I use them while doing straight bar curls, then toss in 3 sets of wrist curls at the end of the workout... My wrists havn't complained even the slightest since I did this, and I was having problems for a while

I am using wrist straps, 95% of the time, only on my left wrist. Yeah, I can do hammers no problem, should I just do like a shit load of hammers?!? :)

I am using the overhand girp, I used to use the "Yates" grip, but I can't hold the bar like that now since I hurt my wrist a few weeks ago. I'm not sure, I think with the wraps I'm doing hella more weight, but I think the Yates grip would bear more load if I had the straps (because I never used straps before).

C,

I would definitely do a bunch of hammers. If I was you, this is what I might do;
Seated Incline Hammers: 10 reps (3 Sets)
Preacher Hammers: 10 reps (3 Sets)
Concentration Hammers: 10 reps (3 sets)

Try any magnets yet? My buddy swears by them and he wears them out @ night. It's pretty funny.

Thanx for the info on grips.

Bar rows are without a doubt, the cornerstone of any nutritious back workout.
