Anavar & Creatine

6am - Coffee before cardio
8:30am - Protein shake with oats & glutamine
11:30 am - Chicken/turkey breast, 3 brocolli florets & 1 little potato
13:30 - Tuna and Brown Rice with olive oil
16:00 - Protein shake with water
18:30 - lean protein meat or fish & veggies
20:30 - Protein Shake with water

Other sides so far is loss of appetite, I have changed my diet to reduce carbs from meals after the tuna and rice, I have had no strength gains yet.

Thanks Slat

I was going to say this.

From talking with my girlfriend ( who is VERY fit)
and ladies like IronWings. They seem to respond so well to creatine that there is a type of supersaturation and thus "spill over" into the body which causes bloat Even with the cleaner forms.

I am coming to believe that Females are actually "super responders" to the creatines and thus maybe need half or 1/3rd the doses and dose patterns males typically use.

Thus using Cee ( fast acting creatine) ONLY pre workout, and then maybe a bit more 3 times a week to maintain shy high ATP stores are in order to get all the results minus the bloat.

The above differs from male usage in that the males typically use Creatines/ CEE daily and multiple times a day.

It is definitely the creatine. This is so common in women as Omega stated. The var could have that impact the first week or so only because your hormones are changing and any time your body goes through change it goes into a slight survival mode and water is easily retained. But that would not last and on 5mg - I've never seen that happen.

Creatine builds up in the system and water retention does not happen right away. It could take a week or two of frequent use. (It took me a week recently to feel the effects). If you are having red meat every day or 5 or 6 times a week you probably do not have low creatine levels. If you overload your system with it and your trianing isn't intense enough to use it all - sides occur. Honestly, this I believe is the difference between men and woman. Woman tend to not train as hard (of course not us EF ladies ;-) and are not using the all of the available creatine. I find that creatine is best for those who are endurance athletes or trian like a crazy women like I do. Why did you decide to supplement with creatine?

I do prefer Raw MCC by agxsports.com. Just use half the dose on non workout days and as your body adjust you can switch to pre workout.

I don't know your BMR or stats but I imagine you are not eating enough calories. Especially if trying to gain muscle with Var. I find when I go too low in calories and my training stays intense, I get so bloated I feel I could pop. Drink tons of water and green tea. It will pass - it just may take a few days.

Stop the creatine for now btw. Let me know how it goes...

Thanks Guys

I train like a loon too which is why I thought I may benefit and alsoI heard about the benefits of a VAR/Creatine combo, This is my first VAR cycle and I was worried as you can imagine that I had been given something that wasn't VAR,

I may be eating too few calories as you suggest, but because I struggle so much to lose weight I am nervous about increasing them above 1200 a day. It has only been recently that I have amended my diet to ensure I take on board more protein (aiming for 130g+, 5"6 and 136 pounds) and I think i have also taken my carbs too low to do this, I do cardio every morning (or 6 days at least)and lift in the evening 5 times a week, cardio has become a struggle though.

I have probably put my body into shock mode like you suggest, all of a sudden it has had VAR for the first time, lost it's beloved carbs (or alot of them) and had some creatine thrown in for good measure!

Ironwings - your journal rocks!
