amazing 1,102-pound squat video

bfold. you are certainly right about coan competing in the wpo. I was there and my memory may have failed me. I remember him walking out so maybe I assumed rack. but come to think of it, maybe it was a damn monolift, he walked it out regardless to set up.

by the way, i saw big becca after her lifts and she is HUGE now, wow. amazing how feminine she still is to speak with such a huge bod and masculine features. both eyes were blown, she is amazing. I just hope she stays healthy will all her supplement usage...:doc:

Not true the organization that ED Coan is in doesn't use it ..as far as I know.... I know for a fact that when DR Squat did 1000 squat he stepped back with it and had to rerack it.

Goggins lift was done in the WPO, which does not use such archaic and dangerous rules such as requiring jack stands and walkouts. And tho Ed Coan did some amazing lifting as a USAPL/IPF lifter, he now competes in the WPO and has the monolift for his lifts just like everyone else when he lifts there.

He blew his knee tho this last year at the mountaneer cup, and they were not using a monolift there. I don't think it is a real good idea to be walking out half a ton. The lateral stress to your knee is unreal when setting up.

When you have a monolift, you just stand up, the racks swing away, and you squat it.

And Fred Hatfield commonly used a similar method when he squatted. He would stand up with the weight, and then have spotters drag the jack stands out of his way so he could squat without having to re-set his feet.
