I know that all natural peanut butter can be good for you and many on this forum have incorporated it into their diets. But for me I don't.
I have started craving some lately, and Fridays are the days I usually indulge in a couple of cheat meals. I also do my grocery shopping on this day too. So while browsing down the isles I decided to pick up a small jar.
Out of curiosity I decided to look at the ingredients. I don’t usually do this with a cheat food, but I Just wanted to see. Food in Kuwait doesn’t usually have calorie or nutrition listed on the label, so I don’t buy much pre packaged foods, which is a good thing. I know some peanut butter companies add oil to their peanut butters, and even some partially hydrogenated oils. But when I read the label on all of the peanut butters available………Peanuts, Sugar, FULLY HYDROGENATED (insert oil), etc………… I flipped out.
This country is so far behind in so many things, and now you can add food to this list.
