ThanX all for the encouragement!! Really 3 PR's, but a very small one. My best attempt with 400 so far, just missing the lockout. Cant fight the weight as long now with my lower back being all pulled out and shoulder pain, so I rerack sooner then before. Also hit 330x8 and a 5X5 PR with 330. ThanX all for the encouragement!! Turned out to be a good workout overall. This was my closest attempt with 400. I should of had it, very fuckin close. Just a small movement from lockout. Not this week though! I hit some more PR's however. I hit an extended 5X5 with 330 and also hit 330x8 which was a PR. Considering 330x8 was my 12th set its not bad. I dont usually rep with 330, 335 is the closest to that weight I usually rep with. 335x6 was my best. Also I took the suggestion of lowering my reps for one rep max warm-ups. I cut my 225x12 warm-up set down to 6 reps only. And 275 got cut down from 8 reps to 5. Seemed to work well this time. In the past it caused me to be weak. My training partner always does this and benches 455 at 185, though in a much different looser form, so I figured Id give it a try. My protein has been at a consistent 200+ but calories arent as high as I would like. So I was a little lighter at 195 on arrival, and 196 after some water.I had planned to drink a gallon of milk a day, but I slacked. Mostly for all the calories from the milk. Calories are the largest weakness in my diet! Heres the routine:

225x6 (Cut it down from 12 reps)

400x 3/4 (Just missed lockout. Closest attempt so far.)

365x1.5 (tried for more, but chest felt fatigued with heavier weights tonight)

Extended 5X5 Routine With 330lbs: (Each set taken to failure)

ThanX brother!! Ive been training less overall and hitting it VERY hard to make up for it. As a result Im hitting lots of PR's lately. Ive been off the M1T for around 2 weeks now, but I always keep the gains from it. Some of the gains are probabally residual from my last brief low dose cycle. Mostly just being well rested and FAR BEYOND DRIVEN to KILL THAT SHIT!! Back is still an annoyance!! ThanX again!!
 
sweet man, you progress damn fast! maybe next bench day for ya you should try the 400 right after the 275x5 set. im thinkin the additional wear down from the 315, 335, and 365 is makin u miss that lockout. gl!

ThanX brother!! This has only been in the last 6 months! Before that I was at some rediculous plateaus. One of them was being stuck at 315x4 for over a year, and lucky to hit 2-3 reps on most sessions. Switching to a bench I was stronger on and taking NO2 helped me hit 7 reps with 315. Then some M1T took me up to 10 reps and eventually 12. Also my arms took 4 years to grow from 17"-18". Theyre up to 18 3/4 now, but it fluctuates. Its nice to finally be progressing again. The M1T at low doses and 2 week cycles has made a major difference. Ive been able to keep all the gains also. I know some people skip straight to max. My training partner makes a 125lb jump from 335x1 to 460 for a one rep max. Doesnt seem to work well for me at all. I like to get a feel for the weight on the way up. Ive tried large jumps and its never worked out well. ThanX again brother!! KEEP KILLING THAT SHIT!!
 
nice work on the PR Beast. You are missing the lift because your tri's are weak at your lockout. Try hitting up some board presses with 4 or 5 boards. This will help you to increase strenght in your weak area. keep pressing hard, and focus on your goal. you will get it soon...
