Well I just gave the 14/2 ckd cycle a whirl...
I was in ketosis for 14 straight days ending this past friday. I *never* went out of ketosis during this period.
On saturday I went into carb-up, and boy did it hit me hard. I was like a zombie, I couldn't work out at all. The best I could manage was a bike ride.
Sunday, the second carb-up day, was a lot better. I was able to do normal workouts and felt good.
So I guess the moral of this story is that I did really need the second day of carb-up after finishing 2 weeks in ketosis. I thought I might try just one day of carbs, but it never would have worked. Once more cutting cycle like this should do it for me.
