102 sets.... EVERYONE POST RESULTS HERE

Seems like quite a few people have tried the 102 sets craze started by Poliquin.

I'd really like everybody who's tried it to give me some feedback in this thread. What I'm looking for here, people, is anecdotal evidence. Sure the whole thing seems crazy. But you never know....maybe they body can actually adapt and supercompensate for something like this.

1.) What did the routine consist of, precisely. How did you eat during the day?

2.) How did you feel the next day and days after that? When did DOMS subside?

3.) How did training the same body part again [presumably at least a week later feel]? Did you feel stronger? Did you gain size? Did you feel you had a higher threshold for pain?

This might be interesting stuff guys. I urge you to post your results here.

Thanks,

100 sets rule!

One person

One person did it and actually experienced very little growth, not worth the pain and suffering the following days to come.

Did that person have an strength increase or resistance to pain?

Again, I don't know where SSAlexSS got 102 sets, but the Poliquin One-Day Arm Cure comes out to 64 sets if you total them up. I did it myself about 1 year ago, following Poliquin's advice almost to the letter.

The article can be found at T-mag. Shouldn't be too difficult to find.

2.) How did you feel the next day and days after that? When did DOMS subside?
I was in extreme pain the evening of the experiment, and could barely move my arms. I massaged them with ice for several hours while watching TV before going to bed and sleeping about 11 hours. The next day I had almost nothing in the way of soreness.

3.) How did training the same body part again [presumably at least a week later feel]? Did you feel stronger? Did you gain size? Did you feel you had a higher threshold for pain?
I took about 5 days off before traininig again(At least so far as I remember) I did not gain strength, nor did my threshold for pain increase. I did add about 1/4" to my arms, which was permanent.

If you want more details, I've made several more detailed posts about this. Just search on my name, and 'One-Day Arm Cure' or 'Poliquin'

Hope that helps.
