10/30 NFL: Kansas City at San Diego

Their last meeting with the Chargers was January 2, 2005 and the Chiefs have been waiting for their chance to avenge that 24-17 loss ever since.

Both teams have a chance to improve their showing within the AFC West division. San Diego is 3-4 (1-1 in the division), while the Chiefs sit at 4-2 (1-1 in the division).

San Diego opened as a 6-point home favorite in this contest. Oddsmakers set the opening total at a high 50 points.

Last time out, the Chiefs defeated Miami 30-20 as 1-point underdogs. That contest went over the closing total.

The Chargers lost to Philadelphia 20-17 as 4-point underdogs. That contest went under the closing total.

Expect the league's #2 offense to get points on the board and generate trouble for the Chiefs defense. Averaging 27.6 points per game, the Chargers can run up the score if they get on a roll.

this is a tough call.

I love my chargers.. but in KC you have Trent green, Priest Holmes, Tony Gonzalez.. even Larry Johnson gets a TD here and there!

Its a tough one but I'm looking for Ladanian to rebound from his poor rushing performance last week. Plus Gates has had success against the chiefs.
